Just minutes from downtown, it’s friendly, relaxed, and welcoming, perfect if it’s your first time on skis or a snowboard. Even if it ain’t your first pony show, the slopes are manageable, the vibe is local, and there’s none of the intimidation you get at big resorts. Mt Sima is a great way to spend a day.
Fancy a bit of apres after tearing up the slopes? Then you’ll want to add our ‘Apres Express’ extra to your booking. We’ll pick you up from Mt Sima at 3:15pm and drive you down to Winterlong Brewing, one of the best breweries in Whitehorse! The bus will then pick up the rest of the skiers and grab you as they come back past at 4:10pm.

The Discovery Packages offer a reduced rate to people who are relatively new to skiing or snowboarding, or new to Mount Sima. This is a great way to learn to ski or ride and discover the mountain with one of our certified instructors.
Their Discovery Packages include:
Private lesson
Lift ticket
Equipment rental (boots, skis/snowboard and helmet)
Morning pickups start at 10am, and get you to Mt Sima in time for the rental shop’s opening of 1030AM. For those doing a half day there are also hotel pickups at 12:50pm and return shuttle to Whitehorse at 1:30PM and 4PM
