Aurora Magic & Mystery

Aurora Magic & Mystery – The Best Northern Lights Package in Whitehorse

Introducing Our Exclusive Aurora Experience: Unrivalled Views, Unmatched Comfort

Our Northern Lights Yukon package is designed for travellers who want to experience the aurora without the uncertainty and discomfort often associated with winter travel in the North. Combining structured touring, iconic Yukon winter activities, and a more comfortable approach to aurora viewing, it offers a complete and well paced Yukon experience.

During your stay in Whitehorse you will be based at the brand new Hyatt Place, providing a high level of comfort and a central location throughout your stay. The itinerary balances daytime activities with late night aurora viewings, allowing time to rest while making the most of northern lights conditions.

The package includes air port transfers, a city orientation tour on the way to the hotel, nightly aurora viewings at our Aurora Lounge, a half-day dog sledding experience, a guided visit to the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, and time to relax at Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs. Together, these experiences provide a well-rounded introduction to the Yukon in winter, combining wildlife, culture, and relaxation.

Our Aurora Lounge, located in a dark-sky setting just outside the city, was designed specifically for northern lights viewing. The cabin provides a heated indoor space with comfortable seating, large north-facing windows, and adjustable lighting, allowing you to enjoy the aurora from inside if they prefer. A spacious outdoor viewing area is also available, along with a licensed bar offering local beers, BC wines, and hot drinks throughout the evening.

Guests can choose between a 3-night weekend package (Friday to Monday), or extend their stay by adding a Thursday night, which also includes an additional aurora viewing experience. For those travelling outside of standard dates, custom departures can be arranged at no additional cost.

This Northern Lights Yukon package is ideal for travellers looking for a more comfortable, structured, and complete way to experience the Yukon in winter.
